Keeping you safe is fundamental to our plans - these are our key priorities to ensuring that.
Safe and Efficient Site Logistics: Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, vehicles, and workers during construction is a priority. Traffic management measures, clear signage, and trained traffic marshals will be employed to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and traffic flow.
Cycle Safety and Pedestrian Protection: Measures will be implemented to maintain cycle safety and provide safe pedestrian access throughout the construction site. Clear cycling routes, safe crossing points, and adherence to regulations will be ensured.
Minimising Disruptions and Impact: Efforts are made to minimise disruptions to local businesses, restaurants, and residents. Measures such as noise reduction, dust suppression, and efficient waste removal are considered to maintain a quiet and enjoyable environment for nearby establishments.
Compliance with Regulations and Standards: Adherence to the Highway Code and other relevant regulations is emphasised.
Consideration of Heritage Structures: Measures will be implemented to protect heritage structures from damage and ensure their integrity.
Efficient Waste Removal and Delivery:. Our goal is to streamline operations and promote efficiency while being environmentally friendly by utilising vehicles of the ideal size.
Collaboration and Consultation: Collaboration and input from key stakeholders to ensure that the logistics plan addresses their concerns and priorities.
Existing gates will remain closed and will only be opened for deliveries. A traffic marshal will supervise all deliveries and gates.
